Character List (Updated 6/22/08)

Okay, because all names are changed to protect the innocent (or not so innocent). Here’s a listing so you know who everyone is…and so I don’t forget whose pseudonym is whose. (And no the pictures are not the actual people, just fairly good representations of what they are like, if you don’t know/understand one of the pictures let me know, for most Americans they will be pretty familiar faces, some international readers may not know them, though.)

J- The boyfriend since March 2005; helped me overcome the divorce, and really figure out that I don’t really need a man to survive…fortunate for him, I want him in my life.

Ex- The ex-husband. ‘Nough said, ya think? (Although, in all fairness, as far as I am aware he never like boys, just girls- and yes, I mean GIRLS)

Mom- Obviously, my mother. Raised us 3 kids on her own.

Granny- My mother’s mother. Helped raise us as kids.

David- My older brother, by 4 years. Never been super close.

John- My baby brother, who’s 1 year 11-months younger than me. We’ve always been pretty close…except for a little bit of a rough patch, which you’ll learn about in time…Most confusing person I know…one moment you want to kill him, the next he’s the sweetest person on earth.

Old Hag- The old lady next door, who complains A LOT. J does all her yardwork, and fixes anything else she needs help with.

Mrs. Maid- The old lady who lives on the otherside of us. She’s a widowed, retired school teacher. J helps her with house maintence, and in return she keeps hounding him about when we’re getting married.

Capt- The fisherman friend of J’s. He owns his own crabbing/fishing company. Has been a friend of J’s for a good 20 years. J use to work for him. J spends a lot of time with him, helping him out with mechanical repairs, and just hanging out (and drinking).

George- My uncle. My mother’s brother.Nice guy, but, pretty naïve to the world outside Blacksburg

Mark-First real boyfriend. Dated when I was 15-16, and he was 14-15. First very unhealthy relationship. Jury is still out on whether or not he’s homo or heterosexual. (See post dated May 5, 2008)

Mr. & Mrs. Perfect- Neighbors that live catty-cornered from J and I. The perfect all American couple (See post dated: June 21, 2008)
